CMI and DeepSecure Sign Partnership Agreement

Make Advanced Content Checking and High Assurance Guard Solutions Available to the Canadian Government

GATINEAU, QUEBEC, CANADA – June 21, 2011 -- Channel Management International (CMI) and Deep-Secure today announced an exclusive partnership agreement to make available their high assurance products and solutions to the Canadian government. CMI, a specialist in IT security distribution and market development, has been successfully developing business within the Canadian federal government around these niche-type security offerings since 2002. Deep-Secure offers highly configurable solutions built around a core set of evaluated products that meet both current and emerging needs for secure data sharing for a range of business applications including email, web services and network management.

“The integration capabilities of Deep-Secure with the current encryption, document tagging and data diode technologies in use within the government provides a compelling story,” says Luc Gervais, President of CMI. “The additional content checking capabilities are not found in many of the other filtering products and should help ease in the sharing of sensitive information.”

The ability to securely correlate and tightly control classification labelling and user access rights within encrypted content is but one of the features of the Deep-Secure solution. When combined with a secure transport mechanism such as a data diode there is a high guarantee of maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information as it moves across security boundaries .

”We are delighted to be building a strategic relationship with CMI to position our products within the Canadian federal government market” says Miles Clee, CEO Deep-Secure. “With an established reputation and specific expertise in the high assurance sector, we are well aligned with CMI and see great value to Canadian customers with an integrated approach to help secure the way in which sensitive information is shared amongst collaboration partners.”
